9-11, President George Bush and Truther Alex Jones

It is the 10th Anniversary of the day that Alex Jones claims that George Bush attacked the United States of America and blamed on it Muslims. Since George Bush could not effectively attack a bowl of pretzels, I never bought into the Alex Jones 911 Truther conspiracy. The fact that Mr Jones’ proof of the conspiracy is founded upon the notion that buildings can only collapsed in a certain prescribed manner strikes me as peculiar and desperate.

But on the other hand, Alex Jones does manage to sell a whole lot of emergency special food, water and even air. Yes I said air. Air with silver particles in it. Believe it or not you are supposed to breathe this metal laden air into your lungs. I suppose you could just go down to your local foundry and breathe in whatever is coming out of the smoke stack but that would probably be lead and even Jones would know that is poisonous. Okay so silver is thought to have antibacterial properties–but that still doesn’t mean it’s a good idea to breathe it in. Will they call you Metal Breath?

Nevertheless, Alex Jones has gone from a single conspiracy–the notion that George Bush attacked the United States on Sept 11 2001–to a plethora of global conspiracies. Some of his most peculiar conspiracies involve governments slowly and deliberately poisoning their people and reducing them to poverty. My problem is the notion that when government or corporations for that matter are found to be covering up poisons or looting the treasury, it also generally turns out to be a greedy few who figured out how to game the system rather than a centuries long conspiracy run by the wealthiest families of Europe. If there is a conspiracy it is more a confederacy of dunces than a cabal of geniuses. And the final answer always is: follow the money. Who is getting rich off this?

As long as we are on the subject of 9-11, how safe are we from terror? If wasting money in Libya, Iraq, and Afghanistan for no apparent national interest is making us safer then we must be safe indeed.

Well, at least Bin Laden is dead. Kudos to president Barack Hussein Obama for that. Now why are we still over there again?

However, when Obama leaves our southern border open, attacks Arizona for asking people where they were born, allows sanctuary cities, and seeks to give the jobs of unemployed Americans to illegal aliens, it is hard to see how we are safer than before September 11 2001.

It will be interesting to see how the government responds to the emerging problems of cyber warfare, cyber crime, those who would deal us digital death. If the Obama government behaves according to its Marxist tendency, when all is said and done, our civil rights will be curbed in order to protect us from ourselves and the internet will become a lot less free and a lot less innovative.
