Billion Botnet Attack

The Folks who monitor things like Internet contagion, virus outbreaks and the number of computers infected by some jack wagon clicking on links in spam phishing Email , say that there are millions of infected computers and that the pattern of infection bespeaks some ulterior motive or secret purpose. The question is: What could it be? What are the evil hackers in China, Russia, or God only knows where else, planning to do to us? Here are some guesses:
1) Denial of Service attacks on every computer on the planet
2) Panty raid on every bank on the planet (raiding your account and rendering you financially nude)
3) Shut down every government on the planet
4) Shut down every business on the planet
5) World War III (A hacker got to Japan’s largest defense contractor)
6) Guy Fawkes Day
