Brain Piercings and Eyeball Tattoos

With any luck, the report of Brain Piercings as a fashion statement is a hoax. I can only find one head reported to have been pierced so it probably is a hoax.
Eyeball tattoos however seem alarmingly real. I look on this whole avenue of body modification as the self administered portion of the Darwin Awards. If you are dumb enough to get this stuff done to you then thank God the likelihood of infection, blindness and mental retardation is high enough to take your right out of the gene pool.
Can you imagine some ultra fashionable dude blind in one tattooed eye and can't see out the other trying chase down a pick pocket but he keeps stumbling and falling down because his fashionably baggy pants won't stay up and his fashionably untied shoes keep tripping him up?
