Climate Change: Not a US problem?

Blasphemous!
For many Global Warming is not science but religion.
Anyone with intellectual curiosity knows that at least one of the things he firmly holds to be true, is not true.
For instance, the old saying "May you live in interesting times" is likely not from China. All my life I have been told it was so I thought it was. My first inkling that it wasn't is when I asked a Chinese National who plans to write a book on Chinese proverbs had she ever heard of it. She hadn't . Whoops...
Now as to climate change. Check out some science
And check out what the government agency report says here:
Excerpt from Energy Information Administration (EIA) Report
"Coal’s share of world carbon dioxide emissions grew
from 39 percent in 1990 to 42 percent in 2006 and is projected
to increase to 45 percent in 2030. Coal is the most
carbon-intensive of the fossil fuels, and it is the fastestgrowing
carbon-emitting energy source in the IEO2009
reference case projection, reflecting its important role in
the energy mix of non-OECD countries—especially,
China and India. In 1990, China and India together
in 2006 their combined share had risen to 25 percent,
largely because of strong economic growth and
increasing use of coal to provide energy for that growth.
In 2030, carbon dioxide emissions from China and India
combined are projected to account for 34 percent of total
world emissions, with China alone responsible for 29
percent of the world total."
A little more on Chinese coal usage:

So when it comes to Climate Change, the action is in China not here. Common sense would have told you that without resorting to scientific studies. Suppose over one billion people in a third world economy and no environmental controls tried to gain a US standard of living. Will they produce more or less pollution than say 330 million people in a nation with lots of environmental controls? Oh dear, the answer to that one is so obvious that one wonders why any study was needed.
Oddly enough, I would still like to go green, I am just silly enough to think that my going green will save the planet. I would like us to go green so that we will not be beholden to oil despots and dictators.
There has to be a difference between me and the deluded who think we should go green to save the earth and there is. I am willing to use any domestic source of energy we have from coal and oil to nuclear in order to get to green. I happen to know that you can't create say wind mill turbines with wishful thinking and good intentions. It will take oil, coal, nuclear, and natural gas to get us to that world where we run everything off sunshine and windmills. The real difference between me and those who think all the world's ills are the fault of the United States of America is I already know we can not instantaneously go green. The Green Weenies will realize this years, maybe decades from now. In order to get there we will need to start now. Since I know it will take longer than the Green Weenies imagine it will, I would actually be more aggressive in turning the government green than Obama would. If it takes thirty years to make the infrastructure change no matter when you do it, let's start now. Make the military run green for instance. Given that we are in two wars, there would be a lot of resistance to that but you can be very aggressive in turning a government entity green.
