Democrats Don’t Believe in the Debt Ceiling Apocalypse

Democrats don’t believe the United States of America will end on a date certain, when we default on our debt obligations. This is easily proven. Ask yourself, if you thought the world was going to end painfully for you and your family, and all you had to do to stop your world from being destroyed was to give up cable TV, lottery tickets and cigarettes, wouldn’t you give those things up to survive, and save your grandma and even live pain-free? Wouldn’t give up a few comforts as so that you did not have to watch as they threw your ailing mother out on to the street? Those damn cigarettes were killing you anyway.
Now consider how democrats responded when all they had to do was to sign onto a bill that reduced spending you are forced to one of several conclusions:
1) Democrats hate grandma and are rubbing their hands with glee at the prospect of seeing her aged, diseased body sailing over the asphalt as she is kicked out of the nursing home. Democrats want to see granny get pitched to the pavement.
2) Democrats consider politics more important than people. They’d rather watch granny die than let republicans win at anything.
3) Democrats are lying. Granny will still get her social security after default. After all, president Barack Hussein Obama would have to make a personal decision to cut granny off at the knees and withhold her social security check. Surely Obama would choose to furlough 800,000 nonessential government workers instead. For that matter, Obama could fore go that loan guarantee that gave Brazil billions of dollars to support its domestic energy exploration.
Clearly democrats are playing their usually game of treasonous political bribery and extortion, as always, but this time at an extreme level.
Yes, it is true that the Communist Manifesto says there must always be a very steep and progressive income tax to steal money from working people and give it to the government to waste, but surely liberals would not carry their love of Karl Marx and their hatred of the constitution of the United States to a point of true brinksmanship. Democrat are bluffing.
But republicans are almost certain to pull defeat from the jaws of victory once again. McCain is already shooting his own wounded again–like the Manchurian rhino he is. If treason is an art, democrats are the greatest artists of all time but McCain is quick study.

Now if only the Taliban would all agree to be gay everything would be fixed! The United States would move heaven and earth to get that done.
The truth of that whole area of the world was shown when Pakistan punished the people who helped us kill Bin Laden. Even our "allies" can't stand the sight of us because, except for Obama, most of us are the "wrong" religion.
We should get out and let them get back to killing each other but such things take time.

In any case the real gamesters are the Republicans. For the most part they aren't playing ball because they want Obama to catch all the heat for the debt ceiling fiasco which, normally be just another day in congress, business as usual. Actually Obama catching heat is just a bonus, because on second thought they really do want to protect those tax cuts that really really saved their rich lobbiests a whole ton of cash.
What a short memory this country has. Bush Jr. inherited a surplus, but he cut taxes and the economy suffered accordingly. You can't balance a budget without revenue.
On reducing spending - why does a 1/3 of all spending go to the military? Did you know the US spends more on its military than the rest of the world COMBINED? Really makes me wonder why defense isn't parceled for slashing along with the other entitlements.
