The End of the World has been Canceled

It appears that the End of the World, scheduled for 2012 may have been canceled. Those of you who have been running up huge credit card debt and promising to pay back on the first Tuesday of 2013 (this means you Barack) might want to rethink your drink. For those not in the know, there is a problem with a Mayan calendar stone. Apparently it only goes to 2012. Some have taken this end of a calendar as the end of the world. Others have suggested: maybe they ran out of rock. My personal favorite alternate scenario goes like this: Do you have a calendar for the year 3012? Why not? If you can't figure out why you would need a calendar for a date impossibly far into the future, maybe the Mayans couldn't either.
