For those who think I am going overboard consider the story of Canadian Shona Holmes.. She found herself with a brain tumor in a catch 22 situation in Canada. The only way she could treated was to borrow a lot of money from friends and come the United States.
Socialist Medicine seems great if you are not sick. If you are well, you may think that you are paying nothing. In reality, you are always paying taxes for government services but since you don’t pay the tax all at once, it seems “free” to you. Sales tax, income tax, and value added taxes are some of the coolest ways to become a government slave ever invented. Since you never get a big bill, you never get sticker shock.
