Ron Paul is Top Republican?

Looks like Ron Paul just won a straw CPAC poll. He beat the likes of Mitt Romney in the Conservative Political Action Conference Poll.
The political talking heads are spinning this as a non event since their favorites did not win but maybe it's a wake call to the usual suspects who haunt the political hustings.
What am I saying? Have you seen the Democrats and even some Republicans stampeding for the exits? Maybe they believe that it won't be enough for faux conservatives like Glen Beck to strafe the wounded and attack Tea Bagger favorites like Texas gubernatorial candidate Debra Medina and conservative Alan Keyes. Maybe the traitors and whores in Washington DC have already pocketed their last bribe from a foreign country for the express purpose of betraying America, and they are getting out while the getting is good.
