Sorry For the Poison Snow

Apparently the bottle of snow cone syrup looked exactly like the molecular acid--or something. And folks ate some, but not too much
There are several morals to this story. Yes, Virginia, fast food is bad for you and gratuitous sugar is really, really bad.
There is no reason to put poison in harmless looking containers. What they used to do in the old days with that skull and cross bones motifs was disturbing but effective. Even the functional illiterates we have making our food these days...now there's a path you don't want to go down too far...
So many lessons. So little time. New company policy! Never store the stuff that melts your face off next to the ice cream.
When you train your employees, have one of the steps be something like, pretend that instead of serving this to someone you were going to put it in your own mouth. Would you want to know exactly what it was first? Or would you say, what the hell, down the hatch!
Read label, then pour.
