Residents have just voted for the state to go bankrupt.
No longer able to govern, the Terminator looks for something to destroy. Starting with his waistline.
The Unemployment rate in the state of California is over 10%.
You can actually find a place to live in Golden State for under $500,000.
Signs of the apocalypse? Or just signs that one of the largest states in the Union is too big for it's britches. Having a wet head and dry feet for a couple of centuries may have finally taken it's toll. Some dare speak of splitting California into two pieces.
California agriculture has long made more money than many of the world's nations.
A former assemblyman, Bill Maze would divide California between the conservative farmers in the interior and the liberal nuts and flakes on the coast who use the pacific ocean for a toilet.
Hey, don't shoot the messenger, they have to get rid of their waste water somewhere. And they do treat it before dumping it--I think.
Besides, it makes for a poetic image: Where the Sewer meets the Sea----Under the Fog.
