If you have more money than sense, or if you just can't seem to understand the vagaries of encryption, passwords and security, take heart. You can secure your wireless router by covering your house in aluminum paint.
This works on a principle similar to that of Faraday Cage. Namely if you were to surround your self with metal, electromagnetic radiation would have a hard time getting to you or emanating from you.
As some have pointed out, if you manage to stop your neighbors from hijacking your wireless internet but then you can't get cell phone calls, this was not a good exchange.
