Why American Style Communism will not work

The State of California is bankrupt. The nation of Greece is bankrupt. They are both bankrupt for the same reasons. Socialists, Marxists, closet communists, unions, and especially public employee unions have sidled up to government entities and siphoned off as much of taxpayer funds as they can. They have specialized in the public union scam of basing a pension on the last year of work and then making that last year one of the highest paid years on record. And so you have the spectacle of retirees making more money than people who are actually working. When this Bernie Madoff type Ponzi scheme threatens to bankrupt the government that is bankrolling it, the public employee unions have strikes or riots or throw some other kind of tantrum.
This situation of a public employee union bankrupting a government is emblematic of why American style communism must fail. Laziness and sloth are fundamental to American communism. It begins with the notion of unions demanding more pay and less work. It ends in the extreme of retirees getting exorbitant pay for no work at all. This is an unsustainable system everywhere it is tried.
Other aspects of American style communism are greed, selfishness, stupidity and ignorance. Some who practice American style communism actually believe that government creates wealth. A simple thought experiment should be enough to convince anyone who is not actually stupid that government does not create wealth. The thought experiment is this: If the government creates wealth, why can’t the government print a trillion dollars and give it to every man woman and child in the United States? To find the answer study the Weimar republic of Germany. A more modern example of this is the nation of Zimbabwe which has a 100 trillion-dollar bill. The short answer is supply and demand. The more money you print the less it is worth.
Another problem produced on purpose by American style communism is an ignorant public. The Marxist education unions have reduced public schools to communist education camps. This explains why the public elected as president a man whose only accomplishments where as a community organizer and being the best teleprompter reader on eight planets.
Some of the ignorance of public employee unions is willful. They don’t want to understand supply and demand. They prefer to have a firmer grasp on two other principles. Greed and selfishness. The more intelligent among them know that their demands will inevitably result in a system collapse. They fully intend to get theirs before the collapse. They know that President Barack Hussein Obama will pick up the pieces of system. And as for who picks up the pieces of the American system after Obama has scooped up the bankrupt pension funds of one too many public employee unions, they don’t know and don’t care. Tough luck grandchildren. Grandpa always hated you anyway.
One of the extremes of American style communism is the veneration of the homeless, the jobless, the rootless, vagrants,beggars and bums, and those who have children they know they can’t afford to raise. Again, even though all these lifestyles and the often drug addicted or booze soaked welfare queens who indulge in them are all unsustainable, American style communists insist on opening up the public coffers and showering parasites with money. This produces more parasites and means the war on poverty is guaranteed to never end. Which is as American style communists want it.
Compare American style communism with say Chinese communism. The Chinese believe that if you want to eat you must work. They do not shower parasites with government money. The Chinese communist government does not deliberately allow millions of foreigners into their country to steal Chinese jobs and lower their standard of living. The Chinese government does not deliberately force the total energy dependence on tyrants and dictators in other lands by destroying their domestic energy industry. China has actually allowed its domestic capitalists to thrive–as long as they shut up about politics. China still has the problems of the “irrational exuberance” that causes economic bubbles and their execution of executives who produce adulterated products seems a mite harsh.
The only difference between a liberal democrat and a communist is that a communist is honest about what he believes. I realize that I have given American progressives, liberals, leftists, democrats far too much credit by calling them all what they truly are: Communists. I will close by pretending that I too accept their masquerade. The American left is a bunch of communists in drag. Oh, and I am so fooled by their lies. Cool facade guys. Like they say to the bald dude who staples a skunk his head and calls it a toupee. Looks natural. No one can tell.
